Change Your Behavior, Change Your Weight

Women are the ones who know best what fight they should take to lose weight. Let me tell you some real solutions for weight loss:

  • Change your behavior with patience over time: don’t eat when you’re stressed, sad or happy. In these situations, you’re risking to eat too much.
  • Engage in a regular exercise routine. It will take excess weight off and keep it off.
  • There is no magic potion, pill or program. Losing weight takes time.
  • Change your behavior: what you eat, how much you eat and when are the key elements to long term, successful weight loss.

So, I will tell you some ideas to exercise on a regular basis and how to make it more fun and a little bit easier.

  • Exercise with a friend. In this way, you can help each other out, keep yourself motivated and on track, challenge one other, make a nice atmosphere, laugh or just make a game out of your exercise programs.
  • Try something different: reverse your routine or just change the order of your exercises.
  • Try an outdoor circuit in the park or neighborhood: do a combination of jogging and walking a distance of a couple of hundred feet.
  • Ride a bike around your neighborhood or hike on a hiking trail.
  • Do yoga in the park or at the beach. It is an excellent and relaxing way to exercise both your body and your mind.
  • Play a competitive sport like softball, volleyball, tennis, and soccer, etc.
  • Incorporate exercise in various forms into your everyday life. Transform these physical activities in habits that will last a lifetime.

Avoid Dieting and Make Positive Changes Instead

  • Most diets only serve to tell you which foods are healthy, which foods are harmful, and which are strictly taboo.
  • Diets begin by forcing people to feel deprived or punished. I’m sure you don’t like to feel either one of these things.
  • Set goals for yourself. Keep them seriously but realistic for fitness, dropping pounds and eating new healthy foods.
  • Change your way of eating.
  • Change your way of seeing food.

You will experience incredible changes in your attitude towards your health, your body, and even your fitness level.

Consistency is of vital importance when making these lifestyle changes. Long term weight loss goals will not be as easy to achieve as the first five or ten pounds.

When you are making positive changes in your life that are getting positive results, there is no way to fail.

It may take weeks, months, or even years to reach your goal. As long as you are making steady and continuous efforts and progress, you are doing many great things for your health and well-being.

Start to change your behavior today. It will take time, but the long term benefits and permanent weight loss will be there!
