Spa-Quality Skin Care at Home on a Budget

Skin Care Treatments at a salon or spa can be quite expensive. Therefore, not many people can afford it. However, you don’t need to spend a lot of money or acquire costly products to maintain the health of your skin. An important thing when it comes to skin care is exfoliation; this is why scrubs are a must when it comes down to your beauty routine.

Why are scrubs so necessary? Because you will get to enjoy the following benefits:

  • smoother skin
  • reduce the chance of an occasional breakout on your neck, face or back
  • reduce the appearance of dark spots or age spots
  • minimize the appearance of large pores
  • smoother elbows and knees
  • allows your moisturizer to work better
  • helps prevent ingrown hairs
  • makes hair removal easier
  • reduces stress

Furthermore, I will give you specific scrubs that you must use once a week. Choose the scrubs in accordance to your particular skin type.

Oily skin – is when your skin produces sebum (a naturally healthy skin lubricant) in excess. You can recognize it by observing that your face is shiny, has blemishes, and pimples. This type of complexion is susceptible to clogged pores, blackheads, and buildup of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. It can be sallow and rough in texture and tends to have large, clearly visible pores everywhere, except around the eyes and neck.

  • part lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Mix into a paste and gently scrub face for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Rinse off.

Tip: make sure the salt is thoroughly grinded so to not scar your face.

Dry skin can be caused by harsh soaps, itchy clothing, misusing moisturizer, and long, hot showers. Moreover, even certain medications and a few medical conditions such as diabetes, psoriasis, hypothyroidism, and malnutrition can make your skin dry. Identifying the cause of your ailment will give you a better perspective on how to treat your skin.
