What Fat Deposits on Your Body Say About Your Health

If you know your body well or intend to know it, then you surely observe any symptoms or changes that occur. Sometimes it’s a digestive sensitivity towards certain foods, other times it might be swelling. In this article I’ll tell you what you need to check if you noticed acne on different parts of the body.

Just a little pimple now and then is nothing to worry about. But, if there are areas that are affected most of the time, here’s what they reveal:

1. Chin and neck – if they are frequently covered with acne, they hint towards a raised activity of the adrenal glands. Put into simpler words, there’s too much cortisol in your system. You can clear your skin by clearing your mind. Cortisol is released when you are overstressed either physically or mentally. Try to zoom out a bit and find something you enjoy doing, something that disconnects you from your worries. Walking, painting, singing, spending time with dear ones, they can all help you release the stress.

2. Upper back – the pimples on your shoulders and upper back reveal digestion problems. Keep an eye on the food combinations you make, and check their required time for digestion. Eating more than one animal byproduct for a meal (eggs and meat, for example) or processed foods can be two of the causes. Make sure your meals can be easily digested, and that the food bowl doesn’t put any strain on your GI tract (you can find more info on this in my previous articles).

3. Buttocks – they are usually affected because of overly tight underwear or clothes that don’t allow the skin to breathe properly. Consider wearing looser garment, that’s made of cotton, and gently clean the area every day.

4. Chest – the pimples on this area point towards a hormonal imbalance. Maybe you’re eating meat or dairy products very often, which are known for messing with your hormones. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a problem eating meat, and you shouldn’t completely avoid it. You can consume good quality meat, bought from farmers who breed limited numbers of animals. This allows the farmers to properly care for them and give them the needed fodder, without injecting the meat with hormones and antibiotics like it happens in the mass food industry.

5. Elbows – this area is not so commonly affected, so if you notice any zit on the inside of your elbows, it can signify that you’ve developed an allergy or a fungal infection. Have a few checks to determine if you are allergic to something and what would that be, or if there is a fungus in your body.

6. Belly
– acne on your belly means blood sugar imbalance. Try eating more often and not having breaks longer than 4 hours between meals. Also, always pump your day with a balanced breakfast right after waking up. Boiled or scrambled eggs, a couple of fresh veggies, and a slice of whole grain bread is what you need in the morning to help you control your blood sugar throughout the day.

7. Legs
– this area is affected when you have an allergic reaction to cosmetics, if there is a vitamin deficiency, or if the clothes you wear are too tight or don’t allow the skin to breathe. Once again, consider your clothes and your diet, and make the adjustments you believe are most appropriate.

Your health is in your hands!
