What Your Daytime Sleepiness Says About Your Organs, Part 1

If you’re always feeling sleepy throughout the day at about the same hours, there are some things that require your attention.

Please, bear in mind that this has nothing to do with normal sleeping schedules. If you fall asleep every evening at 10PM it just means you have a regular program. But if you wake up during the night, have trouble getting out of the bed in the morning, or notice any other kind of sleeping discomfort, shift your attention towards the following:

1. Stomach (7 AM – 9 AM)

There’s a reason for which breakfast is called the king’s feast, and it’s the most important meal of the day. During these hours, your stomach is most active, and needs food to process and fuel your every cell with energy for the day that’s to come.

2. Spleen (9 AM – 11 AM)

The spleen is an important part of the immune system, as it cleans the blood from any unwanted alien bodies such as viruses, bacteria or microbes. It also filters the old red cells that are deteriorated, and prevents them from reentering in the bloodstream.

3. Heart (11 AM – 13 PM)

If you feel sleepy or just not well at about noon, your cardiovascular system might be in trouble. Have enough rest, pay attention to how many fats or animal products have you consumed lately, and limit the intake for at least a couple of weeks.

4. Small Intestine (13 PM – 15 PM)

The small intestine holds the mighty power to prepare the “food” for the cells. This is the place where the nutrients (and toxins, at the same time) are absorbed into the bloodstream, and then carried through the body. Feeling tired during this interval might mean that there is too much processed food in your dietary habits.

This is how your body works during the first part of the day. In a few days, you’ll receive the final part of the story, so that you can easily refer to these articles, if the case.
