What does it mean to be a man? To be strong, courageous, not to show emotions, to have a status in society? Maybe that's how people see men. As a doctor, I see that men are different: brave and not very, confident and shy, with a career and without it. But all men have one thing in common – the risk of getting prostatitis, especially after a certain age.
What is prostatitis?
Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland and is caused by various factors. But in most cases, infections are the cause of this disease.
How can you tell if your prostate gland is inflamed?
The manifestations of prostatitis can vary significantly depending on the degree of development of the disease. There are 3 stages:
- Discomfort appears in the lower abdomen. Often you want to empty your bladder (with a burning sensation).
- Problems begin in the genital area (erection worsens, pain is felt at the time of ejaculation, ejaculation occurs prematurely).
- At the last stage, the body temperature rises, pain occurs when urinating, the patient shivers.
In no case should you wait until you get to the last stage. From the first symptoms of discomfort, you need to act. Of course, the best thing to do is to see a doctor. This is what I say in almost every email I send. But knowing full well that people avoid the visit to the doctor or postpone it as much as possible, until the situation worsens, I decide to intervene in order to somehow save the situation with the help of natural remedies.
The most popular product for the treatment of prostatitis is pumpkin.
There are legends about the amazing properties of pumpkin seeds; they were used in ancient times to treat male diseases. It's all about their unique composition; the list of advantages of pumpkin seeds also includes solving problems with the prostate. The seeds are rich in vitamins and minerals. They contain large quantities of potassium, iron, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, and most importantly – zinc, which is indispensable for health.
It is enough to eat 30 seeds a day when the first signs of prostatitis appear. You can divide them into several meals, but it is important to consume pumpkin seed before eating, on an empty stomach. They are useful for the treatment of advanced chronic prostatitis. They are also used for the prevention of prostate diseases.
Garlic is considered to be quite effective for the prevention and treatment of chronic prostatitis.
You can try this recipe: Take three cloves of garlic. Pour 200 ml of cold milk over them. Boil over low heat and simmer for a minute. Infuse half an hour. Consume 35 drops four times a day after meals.
Garlic plays an important role in the treatment and maintenance of male potency. It must be added to the diet for the prevention of prostatitis, it is enough to eat 2-3 cloves with a hot dish for lunch. If the smell of garlic bothers you, you can easily neutralize it with lemon.
Wine tincture of aloe with honey.
Aloe and honey are products that are widely used in traditional medicine. To prepare a medicine for prostatitis, you will need: 0.5 kg of aloe leaves (plants must be at least 3 years old); the same amount of honey; half a liter of red wine (preferably dry). You need to mix all these ingredients and brew for 5 days in a dark and dry place. For the prevention of prostatitis should be taken 2-3 times a day, 1 tbsp. l. throughout the month. Next, you need to take a 7-day break and repeat the course.
Chamomile tea and bath.
To make chamomile tea, you need to pour 200 ml of boiled water in 1 tbsp. of dried plant and brew for several hours. Consume three times a day on an empty stomach. The medicine allows you to cope with the infection and relieve inflammation.
You can also take a bath with chamomile infusion. The bath infusion is prepared as follows: pour 5 tablespoons of dried chamomile in hot water; put on fire and simmer for about 2 hours. The infusion is added to the water when you take a bath.
There are many natural remedies that can help with prostatitis. I definitely cannot write about all of them in this article. If you find this information useful to you, I promise to return to this important and sensitive topic.
However, now I think it is extremely important to emphasize that the problem of prostatitis will not disappear by itself. This is not possible even in the case of the first stage. If appropriate measures are not taken, the disease will only progress and, as a result, become chronic. Be careful that this does not happen.
Do not forget that a strong man is, first of all, a healthy man!
